Build a release strategy across direct screenings, theatrical, transactional, subscription, ad-supported, educational, and international channels. Every pitch begins with a fit between the material, the buyer, the rights, and the delivery requirements.
A buyer-ready package.
- Logline, synopsis, treatment or series bible, pitch deck, author biography, and audience profile.
- Trailer or teaser, screener, key art, production status, budget, and financing plan.
- Chain-of-title and contributor-release checklist, music and archive clearance status, and E&O review with your advisers.
- A rights-and-territory availability schedule identifying exclusivity, language, and release windows.
Pitching with a defined scope.
We evaluate project fit, readiness, rights, and the submission routes available through appropriate industry professionals. Your written agreement identifies the approved outreach scope and any third-party representation or commissions. Buyer policies and decisions determine which opportunities proceed.
Streaming and television targets.
Examples for fit-based evaluation include Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, AMC Networks, and STARZ. Their programming needs and submission policies differ. A listed name identifies a potential target, not an IME partnership or an accepted pitch.
Studios and specialty distributors.
Evaluate Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, 20th Century Studios, A24, NEON, and genre or documentary specialists against project scale, rights, and release objectives. Development-stage pitching and finished-film acquisition follow different routes.
Theatrical and event screenings.
Assess distributor-led release proposals and event-screening opportunities involving AMC Theatres, Cinemark / Century Theatres, Regal, independent cinemas, festivals, universities, faith communities, and professional associations. AMC Theatres is an exhibition business distinct from AMC Networks. Booking, rentals, marketing support, and settlement terms are negotiated separately.
Worldwide, territory by territory.
- Prioritize North America, the UK and Ireland, continental Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and other suitable territories.
- Evaluate regional broadcasters, specialty services, and international sales representatives for the actual genre and audience.
- Plan captioning, subtitles, dubbing quotes, artwork, metadata, ratings, technical QC, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate festival and sales-market submissions, direct-audience windows, educational licenses, and international rights reporting.
Owned release and aggregator routes.
Assess direct screening pages, YouTube, Vimeo OTT, Uscreen, and suitable sales or aggregation partners such as Filmhub. Potential downstream opportunities include Tubi, The Roku Channel, Plex, Pluto TV, and transactional stores, subject to the distributor’s relationships, title eligibility, and each service’s decision.
Include a creator-channel release option.
Assess short episodic releases on YouTube and TikTok alongside other distribution routes. Creator-account publishing, transactional film stores, and commissioned streaming productions involve different requirements. Coordinate rights and release windows before publishing.

How the engagement works
Netflix accepts pitches through appropriate industry professionals who already have a relationship with Netflix, rather than unsolicited author submissions. All other routes require their own policy review. No package guarantees an introduction, deal, theatrical run, platform acceptance, territory sale, festival selection, or award. Distribution agreements, localization, third-party fees, and commissions require written approval.
