Turn your book community into an informed audience for a film campaign. Define the production need, build the campaign materials, and connect appropriate supporters with a clear next step.
Start with the production gap.
- Build a development, production, post-production, contingency, and release budget.
- Identify committed funds and the remaining cash requirement.
- Choose launch milestones and a minimum funding threshold before authorizing production.
- Separate rewards, sponsorship income, grants, sales, and any independently arranged investment.
Give supporters a specific reason to participate.
- Reward-campaign concept, video outline, landing page, and launch calendar.
- Book-and-film bundles, screening access, journals, behind-the-scenes content, or approved merchandise.
- Sponsor deck, suitable brand categories, proposed deliverables, and outreach tracking.
- Grant and nonprofit-alignment research where the project and applicant qualify.
Connect the campaign to readers.
- One film campaign page and a book-led SLO audience path.
- Six-email campaign sequence and a permission-based reminder plan.
- Creator, podcast, author-community, and partner outreach briefs.
- Weekly campaign review during the launch window in the agreed production scope.
Choose an eligible campaign route.
Assess reward-based options such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Seed&Spark against current availability, campaign eligibility, audience, costs, and fulfillment requirements. Sponsorships and grants require their own approval process. Any investment offering is handled separately by the film owner’s qualified legal and regulated financing professionals.
A short series alongside an approved campaign.
Assess episodic storytelling as an audience activity supporting a screening or reward campaign. Views, followers, sales, and contributed funds are separate measures. Production and media costs belong in the approved budget.

How the engagement works
Fundraising support is a campaign service, not a commitment to supply capital. Funds raised do not reduce the agreed IME fee unless your signed agreement says so. Reward fulfillment, platform fees, legal work, and advertising have separate budgets. Book buyers and reward backers receive the stated product or reward, not equity or a promise of investment returns.
